Thanks to my Timehop subscription, I’m in the loop about what I was doing last year as well as right now. Essentially, I’m time-traveling. You guys officially know a time-traveler. Hold your questions until the end.
Much of what I do every day involves the internet, and with things like Timehop, I can see a greater expanse of how I’m interacting and engaging people online. It’s really interesting, but also terrifying.
Because of this, I feel plugged in 99% of the time. This is both good and bad. It’s great because I always like being in the loop, but it’s bad because I’ve found that the biggest way for me to stay fresh and not mentally lethargic is to unplug so my brain can go into sleep mode.
This idea of how we are evolving alongside the internet has been something I’ve wondered about for some time and thankfully, smart people are making infographics about these kind of issues so dumb people like me can have answers painted out like a big picture.
Also, this infographic, while informative, isn’t super hopeful. It’s kind of depressing, but at least you know a time-traveler, right?

i'm going to go read a book. maybe this one i just won about manifestos.
My head hurts.
