If you haven’t heard, then listen: my good friend Chad Gibbs has come out with his second book and it’s fantastic because it talks about sports and God and does so intelligently. That’s just the book part though.

Perhaps the coolest part though is that Chad has partnered with Samaritan’s Purse in a fundraising drive to raise money ($40,000) for a medical clinic in Haiti.

While the book is all about  the notion of fanaticism in sports and the bitter rivalries that transpire,  Chad wanted to see if he could channel that idea and challenge rival fanbases to raise money in support of their team for this medical clinic and ultimately prove which fanbase is ultimately the most awesome.

So buy the book because Chad is as funny as he wise and poignant. But also, click here to support his fundraiser because it’s an awesome cause and also to show how much better your team is than your rival team.
