So it’s here. I’ve been trying to write this book for a while and it was more difficult than I anticipated. I’m pretty ok at being hyperbolic and talking about TV or things with generally no real stakes to them. But when it comes to my marriage, that’s a bit more difficult for me, especially in a public setting.
But luckily, I have a really wonderful wife who is ok with me talking about the things that go on in our marriage.
If you don’t know, here’s the premise of the book: I take nine quotes from arguments my wife and I have had and talk about those quotes, what they mean and what we learned from the arguments that followed.
Some of the arguments aren’t pretty.
Some of them are kind of (read: “profoundly”) embarrassing.
Some of them are regrettable.
But all of them served to eventually strengthen the relationship my wife and I have today. So for that, we look at those arguments not for all the drama, stress, heartache they caused, but for what they enabled.
